Google AI: Course Access Troubleshooting Guide

In my role as Skills Instructor at Goodwill of Colorado, one of my responsibilities is to deliver training for Google AI through Coursera. As I was signing people up I started getting more and more troubleshooting requests from participants. Over time, not only was I not able to keep up with them, but my colleagues started noticing issues with their participants as well. So, I decided to make a video guiding them through the account creation and course access processes. In the process, I researched root causes of login and access issues, collaborated with teachers at the Excel Center, a free high school for adults, wrote the script and storyboarded the video, recorded and created all of the audio and visuals, and edited the video into its final form.
To record the video I used screen recording on macOS, Windows, and iOS. I recorded the audio on iOS, primarily with the microphone on Apple AirPodsPro 3. To edit I used iMovie on macOS.
I chose the recording hardware I did primarily because I also had to learn to use iMovie, and didn't want to run into issues of incompatibility given the tightness of my deadline. As I was editing, a few more issues arose and so at times the audio recorded is of varying quality. If I were given more time to refine this project I would re-record the audio using a DAW and a higher quality condenser microphone, consider breaking the video up into a short series of 1-3 minute long videos, and ensure that all of the terminology, graphics, and colors were aligned with L&D and Marketing teams.
